ABOUT — OUR TEAM
Our Team — Small by Design, Senior by Default
PMI is small by design. We are not a large agency built on layers of account managers, project managers, and junior staff — we are a tight network of senior specialists working directly with our clients from offices in Reading and Allentown.
This page introduces the operating model that makes PMI work: a founder who personally owns every client engagement, plus a hand-picked network of independent specialists in content writing, web design, graphic design, and platform engineering. People Alan has worked with for years and who he knows can deliver to PMI's standards. No layers. No handoffs. No surprises. The senior strategist who scopes the engagement is the same person who writes the spec, manages the production, and reviews the launch.

THE PRINCIPAL
Alan Robezzoli — Founder, President, and Strategist
Alan founded Power Marketing International in 2011 and continues to personally own every client relationship at the agency. He brings 30 years of integrated systems-and-marketing discipline — a software architect career building custom ERP systems for Pennsylvania manufacturers, a decade leading marketing and international growth at Elite Sportswear (the world's leading gymnastics apparel brand), and 15 years founding and running PMI.
For every PMI client, Alan handles all strategy work, writes every project specification himself, and is the single point of accountability between PMI and the client. There is no account manager between Alan and you. The person who promises is the person who delivers.
Alan holds an MBA from Mount Saint Mary's University. He has been featured on the Small Business Resource Show and has been a guest lecturer in senior marketing classes at Penn State Berks. PMI under Alan's leadership has been recognized by Expertise.com as one of the best digital marketing agencies in Allentown, PA, and by DesignRush as one of the top web design agencies in the Philadelphia area.
THE NETWORK
A Hand-Picked Network of Senior Specialists
PMI's production work is delivered by a hand-picked network of independent specialists — each chosen for their senior-level expertise in a specific discipline, each with a track record of delivering to PMI's quality standard, and each engaged on a project basis so the right specialist is matched to the right work.
This is intentional, not accidental. Larger agencies carry the overhead of full-time account managers, project managers, junior designers, and physical infrastructure — and that overhead gets billed back to the client whether it adds value or not. PMI's model strips that overhead out of the equation. What remains is a senior strategist who has done the work for 30 years (Alan), working directly with the client, supported by specialists who do the production work efficiently.
Disciplines in the Network

Discipline 1 — Content Writing
Senior writers experienced in B2B content marketing, SEO-optimized blog production, and technical and industry-specific copy across professional services, healthcare, trades, retail, and manufacturing verticals.

Discipline 2 — Web Design & Front-End Development
Designers and developers experienced in marketing-driven website design on the Duda platform, with a focus on conversion-optimized layouts, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals performance.

Discipline 3 — Graphic Design
Designers experienced in editorial-quality graphics, brand assets, infographics, and presentation collateral that match the visual standard of the markets PMI serves.

Discipline 4 — Platform Engineering & Custom Development
Specialists in API integrations, automation workflows, custom Duda widget development, and systems-integration projects — engaged when client work requires technical capability beyond the standard Duda platform.
WHY THE MODEL WORKS
Why a Small Network Beats a Big Agency for Most Small Businesses
For the vast majority of small and mid-sized businesses in Berks County and the Lehigh Valley, the small-network model produces better results than a larger agency could deliver at any price point — and certainly not at PMI's price point.
The reason is structural. In a large agency, the senior strategist who wins the engagement typically does not deliver the engagement. The client gets pitched by a partner and then handed off to an account manager who coordinates the actual work between specialists. Information gets lost in the handoffs. Decisions get made by people two layers removed from the client's actual situation. The strategy on the slide deck and the work that gets produced drift apart over time.
PMI's model eliminates the handoffs entirely. Alan is in the strategy meeting, in the proposal, in the spec, in the production review, and in the launch retrospective. The specialists doing the production work are doing it against specs Alan wrote himself, with feedback Alan delivers personally. The result is the kind of integrated execution most small businesses simply cannot get from a larger agency — and the price reflects the absence of agency overhead.
STRATEGIC TECHNICAL CAPABILITY
Vetted Technical Partners for Complex Builds
For technically complex builds — API integrations, custom Duda widget development, automation workflows, and systems-integration projects — PMI engages vetted technical partners on a per-project basis, selected based on the specific requirements of the engagement. Every technical partner Alan brings into a PMI engagement has been vetted on prior work and is briefed against PMI's voice, quality standards, and client-facing expectations.
This per-project sourcing model means PMI clients get the right technical specialist for their specific build rather than whichever in-house resource happens to be available. The model preserves PMI's senior-strategist-and-specialist-network advantage while extending capability into technical scope that goes beyond the standard Duda platform when client work requires it.
